Kerrie is a native of Greensboro, NC. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Guilford College and her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She is a licensed attorney in the state and federal courts of the State of Maryland. She has been in private practice since 2005. Throughout those years, and even prior to, with her various internships in Maryland and Washington, DC, she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in many areas of law.  

 

Kerrie has a great passion for the law and people. She is driven by that passion along with her compassion for others and unparalleled competitive spirit. Kerrie is a zealous advocate who seeks to provide her clients results within the confines of the law. Although, she is an aggressive litigator when necessary, at times, certain areas of practice may call for more of a “make sense” or “best interest” approach, which is especially found in the family law arena. Kerrie understands that what she does impacts the lives of her clients and their children, a sentiment that never gets lost on her. She fully understands that it’s not about her, but the client and the lives to be affected by her representation. Kerrie has the ability to successfully navigate the process because she understands the law and takes the time to understand the client and their unique situation. 

 

The concept of family is very important to Kerrie. She and her husband, Jakí,

have two beautiful girls, Jalane and Jordyn. They are all proud members of Christ Church and Ministries. Kerrie loves spending time with her family, traveling, playing sports, watching sports or just reading a good book in her spare time.
